The Team: Stephen Jackson was responsible for something like 60% of the offense! The Rams have to get him help before they destroys his legs. The Player: McKnight is a dynamic running back who should be able to step in next season and add some lightning to an offense. He is a safe pick who can catch the ball out of the backfield, and return punts and kicks. He garnered 1,014 yards and 8 TDs on 164 carries. He also averaged 10.2 yards on 4 punts last season, and 25 on 2 KR. He also garnered 542 yards and 2 TDs on 66 catches over his career. He has great feet and is a terrific athlete. The Reason: The Ram's GM has a momentary lapse of incompetence, and gets his old RB some help. Second Choice: Anthony McCoy TE |

The Team: They could still use a young OLT prospect to groom behind Backus. The Player: If Fox's knee is healthy he
could be a steal in the 3rd Round. He is a converted TE who is still
growing into his body and learning to play OLT. He has a good
kickstep, but he can turn to perpendicular to the LOS. He is still
learning and growing. Team Captain. Smart player who makes the line calls.
He has already graduated. He does a nice job pulling and is quicker out in
space than would think. he does a nice job getting to the second level and
impacting his target. He
is a better athlete than given credit. Not
great feet, but adequate feet like Matt Lights. I keeping thinking about
Light when I watch him play. Nice quick shuffling kickstep. He knows when
to come out of it and attack, when D-End tries t cut inside or get in the
passing lanes. The Reason: getting a good young OT prospect i the 4th Round is never a bad thing. Second Choice: Carlton Mitchell WR |

The Team: Looking for a WR anyone, or maybe a RB? Well this is the best I can do. The
Player: Excellent running patterns. Really showed he could run WR patterns
at the Senior Bowl. The best blend of quickness, toughness, and heart of
any player in the Draft, but he’s 165 pound. He might be the best player
out in space in the draft, but he weighed in at the Senior Bowl at 165.
Compares well to ultra-undersized RB turned WR Percy Harvin, but even
Harvin has 20-30 pounds on him. Like Harvin he made his biggest plays in
college as a RB. However, he really looked like he could play WR at the
Senior Bowl practices. He just can’t be a fulltime RB in the NFL,
period. He will have to be a WR//PR/KR/3rd down back. He
has great hands, and the Pats worked him out solely as a Slot Receiver.
Offers a lot of versatility. Looks like he might be ready to step in a
Slot Receiver. Has more return skills than he showed in college.
he has bad
shoulders that he played with all last season. I rate him as a WR. Could
be a terrific Slot WR. Ran a 4.49 and 4.47 at him Proday. At 160 pounds he
cannot play RB. Tries hard in blitz pick up, but just gets tossed aside to
easily. 20 Reps. Explosive lateral quickness. Dynamic in the open field. The Reason: McCluster looks like he is going to go a lot higher than this. However, Running backs that are 160 pounds and have a bum shoulder, don't go in the first three Rounds. Second Choice: Donald Butler MLB |

Key F.A. Signings: Key F.A. Loses:

The Team: Mike Brown is officially on the KP list, and Jon McGraw isn't far behind. The Player: Wright is one of those steady guys that their teams rely on, but tend to get overlooked in the Draft. he is an excellent athlete who ran a faster time than expected at the Combine. He has good balls skills and can play the run aggressively. But what he does best is cover the deep middle, and this new pass first and ask questions later NFL, getting a FS who can cover the deep middle is imperative. The Reason: The Chiefs need help right in the middle of their secondary, and Wright can play center field with the best of them in this Draft. Second Choice: Donald Butler LB |

F.A. Signings: Willie Parker RB Casey Rabach OC Phillip Buchanon CB Key F.A. Loses: |
|
|
The Team: The Redskins have to replace both their starting O-Tackles form last season. The Player: Calloway is a well coach technician Lacks a little patience in his PP. Plays with better form than I thought. Good feet which do not look out of place shuffling. he uses his feet and hands together well. When Calloway extends his long arms and gets his big mitts on the passrusher he is dead. He does a good job pushing, shoving, and punching. He just doesn't have the feet to always get there. He has excellent technique. He bends his knee and keeps his back straight and arms out, and is always ready to punch. The Reason: If they want McNabb to play next season O-Tackles are the order of the Draft. Second Choice: Sam Young ORT |

Jerome Murphy- CB/FS S. Florida 6-.25, 196, 4.54, 4.05 SS, 10'7"

CJ Spiller- RB/KR Clemson
George Selvie- DE South Florida |
Key F.A. Signings: Key F.A. Loses: |
|
|
The Team: They really need more help a FS than CB. The
Player: Murphy
made a lot of money a the Senior Bowl where he looked like the most physical
CB in the Draft. He has some nice snap in his hips. There is not a more physical CB
in this Draft. Just loves the contact. Does a good job shadowing WR. he
has excellent feet. I really like how he moves on the field. He garnered 4
INTs, and 8 PBU to go along with his 77 Tackles. Aggressive
CB who has a lot of experience. He played in 52 college games. He is a good aggressive tackler. Plays a lot of roles on Special
Teams
including
KR, blocked punts. He has terrific closing speed, but does get caught
from behind on KR. Has played both sides of the field. Terrific hitter. He
can support the run like a guided missile. Very physical CB, and it really shows in run support. Does a great
job impacting the WR, disengaging, and then attacking the Ball carrier.
Always looking to hit WR. Makes every ball thrown to his man a physical
confrontation. The Reason: Murphy is probably the most physical CB in the Draft, and has some value at FS. Second Choice: *Joe McKnight RB |

Eagles |
Jordan Shipley- WR Texas 5-11, 190, 4.55, 36.5", 4.22 SS, 10'0",
Earl Thomas- FS Texas
Emerson Griffen- DE/OLB USC
LB TCU
*Brandon Ghee- 6', 190, 4.37-4.39,
Ben Tate- RB Auburn |
F.A. Signings : Key F.A. Loses: |
|
|
The Team: WR is not a top need, but getting an underneath guy would hurt. The Player: Shipley in an overaged prospect who played 2009 as a 6th year Senior. PLus, 5-11 WR who run a 4.55 don't go in the first two days of the Draft. He has the competitive speed that allows him to play faster on the field than his Forty time would indicate. Great PR. 3,193 yards and 33 TDs in his career. Shipley is also a Special Teams Maven who is the Holder for the kicker and a terrific Punt Returner. He is constant unvalued, underrated, and under-appreciated. He is a good try-hard blocker, but isn't going anybody off his feet. He has great foot quickness. He cut and change direction on a dime while running patterns. Runs great patterns. He seems to open at will with quickness and a nice burst out of his cuts. Uses fakes in combination with his hands to get off the LOS. He can fake outside and get his hands into the DB to cut inside on a Slant. He has great quick feet, which he uses so well in multiple moves in multiple patterns. He has great hands, absolutely catches everything thrown his way. He can turn his trunk and catch the impossible ball thrown behind him. He comes off the line fast with his machinegun feet moving in a blur to get the DB off balance. Does an amazing job getting inside he DB's on Slants, Ins, and any inside pattern. He uses his hands and feet in combination to shrug the CB to the outside as he rips inside. I really hate t say this, but he really looked like Wes Welker in teh 4th quarter of the BCS Championship game. I liked how he played before the Championship game. His biggest question mark was could he do it without his BFF throwing to him. If you saw the second half of the BCS Championship game than you know that question was answered. He absolutely dominated Alabama in the Second half even though everyone in the stadium could see the Freshman QB wasn't even looking at another receiver! The Wes Welker comparison has become over-done, over-used, and over-rated, but in this case it might actually be valid. He has underrated speed, great feet, and great quickness. He had a truly amazing season last year Garnering 116 catches, 13 TDs, 1,485 Yards. He just catches the ball all over the field. Amazing quickness. He can cut laterally on a dime. Great hands, and never drops the ball. Dominates inside in the slot like Wes Welker. The Reason: The only thing the Eagles are lacking in the offense is a slot receiver. Shipley would destroy defenses with his quickness on the inside with Jackson and Maclin on the outside. Second Choice: Larry Assante SS |

Raiders |
Tony Pike- QB Cincinnati 6-5 7/8, 222,
Bruce Campbell- OT Maryland
Emerson Griffen- DE USC
Navarro Bowman- WLB Penn ST |
F.A. Signings: Richard Seymour Tag Key F.A. Loses: |

|
The Team: The raiders will have to take a QB in this Draft. The Player: He was a terrific QB at Cincinnati for two seasons. He has the strongest arm of the top five QBs in the Draft: Bradford, Clausen, McCoy, and Tebow. He can make all the throws. He played in a Pro-Style timing passing game at Cincinnati. And as strange as it sounds, he took snaps from under Center and has NFL footwork already. He has not started for a full season due to injuries. However, when played he played like a 1st Round pick, and both injuries he incurred won't leave any lasting problems. He runs the offense with great precision, which is his biggest asset. He has everything you need mentally to run an NFL offense. Missed games as a Senior with a broken arm, and still threw 26 TDs and only 6 INTs. Very accurate thrower, who gets rid of the ball as quickly as any QB in the Draft. He played in a sophisticated timing offense where he did his 3-5-7 and then threw the ball. He loses accuracy sometimes when he rolls left. I have Pike rated as First Round Pick, and he really displayed that level of confidence at the Senior Bowl, where he really played well. Completely outplayed Tebow. Still looks like he might need a year or two, but I wonder how a team that needs a QB can pass on him on the 2nd Round. Showed some good feet during game, something that came as a shock to me. Displayed the ability to shuffle out of trouble, and even ran the option on one play. Big, strong armed QB who was injured and lost his coach his senior season, and still put together a remarkable season. He will need to show a lot in pre-Draft process to overcome horrible Bowl game, but I blame most of his bad play on the loss of the coach and not on him. If he hadn't broken his arm he would be an easily First Round Pick. The Reason: Pike probably doesn't fit Davis's desire for a strong armed QB, but he has the smarts and a good enough arm to play in the NFL. Second Choice: Donald Butler LB |

F.A. Signings: Key F.A. Loses: Terrell Owens WR Josh Reed WR |
|
|
The Team The Bills are going to need a lot of good WR if they intend to play their current crop of QBs. The
Player: Nice
hands. Can make the tough catch on the bad throw. Can extend out a full
speed and snag the overthrown ball. Runs good patterns. Creates separation
with quickness rather than speed. Great quickness on Comeback. Kept
separating all week from DBs at Senior Bowl Practice. The Reason: Speed on the out side. Second Choice: Eric Decker WR |

The Team: Jags have two good DT's but could still use another to help. The Player: I really like this guy as a stubborn NT in the NFL. Loses consistently when he bends at the waist. When stays low he is a force, but he is inconsistent bending his knees. However, he has heavy hands, and the potential to be an interesting NT. The Reason: Jags get a young DT to groom behind Henderson. Second Choice: Myron Lewis CB |

|
The Team: I still think the bears need help on the O-Line The
Player:
Mitchell
is a big
strong kid who looks like a football player. An under the radar guy who Started 10 games as
a Senior. He average 17.7 YPC, and that is
impressive for such a big guy. He has long arms, excellent size, and can
leap up over any DB and grab the ball. 40 Catches 706 yards. Still
doesn’t produce to athletic ability. However, he did look better this
season, and played with a terrible QB. Over his career he garnered 1,648
total yards in his career. He ran a 4.44 at the Combine and a 4.40 on his
Proday. He still is learning how to play WR. He still plays too high, and doesn't
sink his hips in and out of his cut, so he plays too straight lineish. he
is still more promise than production. The Reason: Fox might not start out quickly as fans would like as he is still recovering from a knee injury, but he could be a starting OT in the NFL for a long time. Second Choice: Chad Jones FS |

The Team: Miami was not happy with it's Tight Ends last year. The Player: He is another super athletic freak who is still learning to play football. Interesting prospect I think can make the conversion to NFL TE. Small school prospect who is another super athlete who has the physical talent to develop into a starter. Former WR, who has the hands your looking for in a Tight End. Knows how to run patterns and get open. Strength and explosiveness lead me to believe that with some NFL coaching he could also develop into a nice blocker as well. Small school Combine Wonder who has the athleticism to be a great TE. I never saw him play, so who know if he can play? He is a big smooth natural athlete. He is a division 2 All-American. Really played well the Shiners Game, and excelled at displaying his receiving skills at the Texas Vs Game. Needs a lot of work on his Blocking. Caught 59 passes in 2009. Hand catcher. He can extend his hands and catch the ball. A Bit of a body catcher. Good quickness on cuts. The Reason: harbor could do a lot of damage on the inside. Plus, he can block Second Choice: Anthony Dixon RB |

|
The Team: Titans have to get a MLB. The Player: Butler is a scrappy tough competitor. Underrated prospect who is smart and attacks the RB with great anticipation. I would like to see what he could do in a 3-4. A little small, but full of potential. Another super athlete who should develop into a starting MLB in a 4-3. Has the speed and athleticism to start at MLB in a Tampa Two. He is a sideline to sideline tackler. He had a very good Senior Bowl and moved way up in a lot of GM's minds. He is very strong and benched 225 pounds 35 times at the Combine. The Reason: Washington is a prospect who should go in the 3rd, but sometime MLB slip a little. Second Choice: Anthony Dixon RB |

|
The Team: Panthers have to get a Passrusher, do I need to explain why;-). The Player: Atkins is the most underrated D-Lineman in this years Draft. He doesn't have ideal height and will drop because of it. Plays with amazing passion, leverage, and can burst past any O-Guard with his otherworldly quickness. Slightly undersized, and how slightly will determine how far he Plays with excellent leans, and rarely gives up leverage. Keeps his arms extended and is an excellent hand fighter. However, I just don’t see him as a two-gapper. I think he is a pure 3-technique DT. Also has a nice Rip. He destroyed Mike Iupati at the Senior Bowl. The Reason: Atkins adds to the interior rush. Second Choice: Tony Pike QB |

The Team: They have to get some on who help out Gore. The Player: Hardesty is a hard luck super athlete who never really got a chance until his Senior Year. 5th Year Senior. Still more promise than production. He is a big slasher. Terrific cutback runner. Looks his best when he can make one cut and go. Good blocker in Pass Protection. Last season he garnered 1,345 yards and13 TDs on 282 Carries. He also garnered 302 yards and 1 TD on 25 catches. The Reason: Just a little Gore insurance. Second Choice: Tony Moeaki TE |

The Team: The Broncos have some good TEs, but none who can catch the ball. The
Players: Runs shorts patterns s well as any TE in the Draft. Never seems to
play well when I watch him. Has good speed. He can get open deep, and can
use multiple moves while moving down field. Hand catcher. Has lined up in
the slot and outside well on passing downs. The Reason: Dickson is a pure H-Back who can really catch the ball down the middle of the field. Second Choice: Mardy Gilyard WR |

The Team: Word out of NY is that they want some D-tackles in this Draft. The Player: Peters was 1st team All-SEC. he reminds me of Myron Pryor, the Pats 6th Round pick last year. He is a pure Undertackle. Third day DT. Nice lateral quickness. Can fight down the line with good effort. he is an underrated prospect who had a lot of production. He has a nice burst off the line, and is more athletic than he looks, like Pryor. Kentucky really looks for him to control the middle of the field, and often abandons him as the other D-Linemen just attacked. He has a good Swim move. He has nice strong hands, and use his hands in feet in good combination to Shrug O-linemen off of him. When he plays low and keeps his arms extended he is a force. He plays with balance with his hands and feet. When he is one-gapping he can destroy the double team. Great hands. Great quickness. He is smart gut who is hard to fool. The more I watch him the more I like him. The Reason: Their two biggest D-Linemen pick up Rocky Bernard and Chris Canty were busts, and the Giant want to replace them. |

The Team: The Steelers are very old along the D-Line and will be looking for some young guys. The Player: Lane is a super athlete who looks like a 3-4 D-End, only he has to play low, sink his hips, and bend his knees all the time or he gets over powered. His biggest concern is that he doesn't always play in balance, but he is still growing into his body. He has long arms, very tall outside rushing DE, with long arms and ridiculous size. Has a nice burst off the line. He could be a freakishly large and fast 3-4 DE. Has good field speed. Plays a little high, and can be stoned when he gets to high. Freakish athlete who at 274 pounds has some interesting potential as a 3-4 OLB, or could bulk up to 300 and play a 3-4 D-End. The Reason: This could a perfect situation for Austin and the Steelers. Austin needs a year or two to develop into a legit 3-4 D-End, and the Steelers have to good old starters at D-End who he can learn behind. Second Choice: Vince Oghobaase NT/DT |

The Team: The Falcons need a replacement for Jamal Anderson. The Player: I think Riley is an underrated prospect who played well every time I watched him. He is a fast, aggressive, and tough Tampa Two Linebacker. Makes big plays at big times. He could go a lot earlier than people think, because he has the speed and athleticism to play the deep middle in the Tampa Two. has garnered 2 INTs, 8 PBU, and 2 Sacks in the past three season. Makes tackles all over the field. 181 Tackles over the past three season. Has had only average production, and is another athletic guy who could develop into a starter if he puts it all together. He has to learn to shed, slip, or avoid blocks much better to become a starter in the NF. However, with his athleticism, instincts, and fire he should be a Special Teams maven for a long time. He has a smooth backpedal. Comes out of breaks fast, and does a good job reading patterns. He is a smart player who reads plays well. Quick into the hole. Good hitter. I like how he takes on blocks and sheds. Plays WLB, but lines up a lot inside. Could be a Mayo type ILB in a 3-4. Runs all over the field. Not a good blitzer. The Reason: Carrington made a lot of money at the Senior Bowl. He can rush the passer from the Left D-End side, and is a thumper who plays the run well. Second Choice: Rahim Alem DE/OLB |

He uses quickness and quick cuts to get open. He has very good hands and can snag the badly thrown ball out of his hands. Has a personality of Terry Glenn. Holds the Kansas records for receiving yards and TDs. He can leap up and grab the ball over the DBs. Terrific body control. Has everything you want in a WR, except character. The Team: Bengals need a Safety in thisDraft. The Player: Another Super athlete who played great every time I watched him play. He has the speed and athleticism to play FS. Hits like a truck. Tough kid who still has a lot of promise in this game. He he learns the game more he will improve tremendously. Has excellent change of direction quickness. Not the best tackler and needs to work on wrapping guys up. He can get from sideline to sideline from deep centerfield. He loves to crush WRs who dare to catch the ball in front of him. He is a ball hawk who can play the ball n the air. In three seasons playing SS in the SEC, he garnered 11 INTs, 1 FF, 13 PBU and 206 T. I think he is a little miscast as a SS and will end up as an intimidating FS in the NFL. The Reason: Jones is big, but he is better playing deep than both the current starters. Second Choice: Cam Chancellor FS |

The Team: The top three needs from last year's Draft that the Eagles didn't fill where DBs. Quintin Mikell did a much better job than expected, but I think that still leaves two holes in the secondary. The Player: Has
a lot of range, and cab cover more ground quickly than he is given credit.
He makes good reads. Tough to judge because he plays so deep and is too
often off camera. Plays the deep centerfield for Virgina Tech, which is
amazing considering his size. He will cover WRs on CB blitzes, and we all
know VT how much loves to blitz the CBs. great size speed ratio. Great
Special teams player who blocked a punt against Miami. Good open field
speed, and when he get up to full speed he can really close on the ball quickly,
and at 6-2 230 pounds he can really do damage to WR who catch the ball in
front of him. Had a great week
of practiced at the East West game, where coaches stood up and noticed his
unusual combo of size and speed, and that he is a Safety.
Does a good job reading
the QBs eyes.
Has
some snap in hips, and has better hips than would think for a 231.
Has good timing on when to
hit the WR. Has great size for a FS. I think he is miscast as a SS.
His
best
asset is his open field speed, and he played deep a lot at VT. Has
terrific range. Great hitter. Can really punish the WR coming over the
middle. Can fly over from the middle of the field, leap up, and make INT,
like he did at Shriners. Knows how to attack , not only the RB, but the
ball on a tackle as well. As amazing as it sounds
Chancellor played some CB in college. At
his size, bigger than some Linebackers currently playing in the
NFL, it is amazing that he has the feet to play CB. Which also helps to
prove what I have been saying about him, he is a FS in a SS body. He can
leap up over everyone and snap the ball out of the air. I think he can
cover the TE down the seem. He can stay with the RB on the outside, and he
played a lot of centerfield at VT. Was all ACC Safety last season. The Reason: The Eagles will looking for a Safety early in this Draft. Second Choice: Larry Assante SS |

The Team: The Packers can use help all over the Secondary. . The
Player:
Looked more athletic and sudden
a Senior Bowl. He has good route recognition and can jump the route.
Played some off man, which is not easy for a big 215 pound SS. Has a good back
pedal, but sometimes doesn't stay low, and can get himself off balance.
Doesn’t have bad hips at all for a SS. Hips looked a little looser than
I remembered from two years ago. Does a nice job changing angles slightly
in backpedal. Looks a little stiff running full speed. Does have good recovery
speed, which is what makes him a SS I suppose;-) Looks his best when he
sees the run and can square his shoulders, and meet the RB in the hole.
Looked a little unsure and hesitant on his read at the Senior Bowl, which
was to be expected, but still played well.
He looked lighter on
his feet and more fluid at the Senior
Bowl than at FSU. Looks like he is smoother in coverage at lighter weight.
Similar to Mays in that he is a big Safety who attacks the WR rather than
the ball when it is in the air. The Reason: Getting a smart Safety could really help this defense. Second Choice: Anthony McCoy TE |

The Team: The Cards have three okay T-End who can't stay healthy. All three are good blocker but can't catch a lot of balls. The Player: A pass catching talent, who is a freak down the field. I have said the best pure pass catching TE in college football over the past 2 seasons has been Gresham, but this guy can give him a run for his money on deep patterns. Not real good with the underneath stuff, but he is an amazing deep-threat TE, which really should be an oxymoron. He played WR in high school. The Reason: McCoy would add a a deep threat right down the middle of the field. If they want their young QB to succeed they need to give him some weapons. Second Choice: Mike Neal NT |

The Team: The Jets could use a Nickel CB. The Player: Lindsey is a super athletic cover Corner. He odes a nice job of shadowing the WR. He has that knack for staying with a WR. He was voted MVP of his team in 2008. He has played a lot of football at Kansas, and has started 47 games. In his career he has garnered 189 T, 10 INTs, 2 FF, and 43 PBD (a school record). He is a quick natural athlete who is light on his feet. He is another size/speed athlete who needs: top coaching, more seasoning, and the right situation for him to succeed. Terrible backpedal. Will to redefine his mechanics like Tebow. Has some snap in hi ships, but sometimes gets out of balance in transition. Most overrated CB in the draft. Has good ball skills. Does a nice job high pointing the ball. The Reason: A passrushing OLB could be the final piece to the puzzle. Second Choice: Jacoby Ford WR/PR |

The Team: The top two needs left over from last year's Draft as I see it are WR and Safety. To make matters worse 3 of the 6 Safeties on the roster are RFA. This could be another landing spot for Dan Williams, but if he is gone, I think Jones will happily take Will Allen or Chad Jones. Three of the four DE on their roster are FA, but they are all Restricted so it should be a problem The Player: A D-Tackle type who can actually rush the passer a little. Looks like he might be an interesting 5-technique DE in the 3-4. I think he will need a great Senior Bowl, and solidified himself as a First Round Pick. The Reason: The Cowboys need to get some 3-4 D-Ends to help the defense. Atkins is not the prototypical 3-4 D-End. but all he does is burst into the backfield. he could be an interesting D-End penetrater in a 3-4. Second Choice: Author Jones DT |

The Team: Chargers have to get some help for the secondary. The
Player: Te'o Nesheim was a great player at
Washington who ended up at their all-time leader Sacker. Line
up at RDE at Shriners, and really look good as a passrusher. He applied
constant pressure. Used his hands with excellent force to shove OT off his
body and than redirected to QB. Looks
like a legit 3-4 DE prospect. Earned starting position of Shrine.
Played a different position than what he played in college to help
team. Has an excellent Rip which he uses to turn the corner.
Hustler who is always playing hard.

double teaming him, as he was killing Kevin Haslem ORT from The Reason: Second Choice: Kevin Thomas FS/CB USC |

The Team: Seahawks need a Safety and probably another CB. The Player: He showed he was an NFL talent at USC. He showed he was one of the top athletes at the Combine. However, he also showed he couldn't stay healthy at USC. Super sleeper, who if he can stay healthy he has the athleticism, cover skills, and ball skills to be a starter in the NFL at Free Safety or Corner Back. he is an interesting athlete lost starting job due to injury. He could never kill the injury bug and never recovered his starting position. He has nice hands and nice hips. He can transition out of backpedal aggressively. A late round sleeper who could do some damage as a pro if he has finally exterminated the injury bug. Big guy, who also has some value as a FS. The Reason: Not a well known prospect but a guy a lot of GM's are looking at. Second Choice: Mike Petrus OG |

The Team: Colts are looking for a young DE to replace Raheem Brock and groom to replace Freeney or Mathis in the next year or two. The
Player: Whitten is an undersized passrusher
who looks like a OLB in a 3-4 to me. he had 7 Sacks in his first 2 or 3
games, and has cooled off since.
Plays well with his arms
extended, and can use his hands against OT to redirect to opposite side.
Attacks QB with good speed when he sees them.
Has a nice inside move on passrush.
Look very quick and very fast on the field.
Consistently displays the athleticism needed to play OLB. In fact,
his natural on field speed looks like it would be better used at OLB.
He has terrific on field speed and hustle, and really looks his
best using his speed on the field; At the Shiners game, he was rushing
from the right side, and made a tackle on the RB, who caught a swing pass
all the way to the opposite side of the field, and his him before he made
it to the line a scrimmage. Now the back was held up by Schofield, and
Whitten made an inside move which brought him towards the left sideline,
but is still was an amazing display of hustle and in field speed. I
can’t to see him run his Forty at the Combine. The Reason: Whitten is a good D-End who has some nice potential as a passrusher. Second Choice: Arthur Moats DE |

The Team: It won't hurt to take a passrusher. The Player:
When
he plays with arms extended he can look pretty good. Does a good job
shoving off OT, with arms extended, and then swim over the top. Played
with better speed at Shiners than I saw at LSU.
Like to shuffle outside to much, but with his quick feet it’s
easy to understand. Really
played well at East West Game.
Showed consistent speed to get around the edge. Uses he hands well to get
the edge. West QB had to keep
waggling away from him when he was on the field.
Kept applying pressure on the QB the whole East West Game The Reason: They don't really need a DE, but getting a passrusher in the 4th never hurts. Second Choice: Blair White WR |
