off I just want to thank all the fans of this site. I have been
promoting my books for sale primarily on this site. As a result, I
have sold almost 500 books in the past year. Thank you for your
support and patronage, both are greatly appreciated. I cannot tell
you how happy it made me when I read that report. So thank you Draft
fans and Patriot fans alike, and mostly thank you to all the fans of
my books and website worldwide.
Vs Houston 1st.
Pats defense was spectacular in the 1st Quarter. Their pass rush was the
rush we thought we were going to see from Houston. The Pats Pass rushers
where clearly better than Houston’s much hullaballooed unit.
Offense was not in perfect synch. "I don’t think we played anywhere near what our capabilities
are," Brady said. "I think it’s good to win, obviously, but we’ve got to do a lot better than that I think. Just turning the ball over and not taking advantage of some opportunities that we had out there, all of us probably look at the game and realize we could have done a lot of things differently."
But they will grow and get better each week as they get more and more in synch.
looked to me like the formidable Flowers was in on two Sacks (for 1 and half
sacks) in the first quarter. "It’s definitely a challenge. Anytime you have a guy that
can make plays with his legs and is able to break the pocket to extend
plays, you always have to stay conscious,” Flowers said. “You don’t
want to be too timid and not have any rush at all, so we wanted to be
aggressive, but also aware of the rushing on us." If he is better
than last season the NFL had better watch out baby.
offense was good but not great, as we would expect in the first game.
"We try to spread it around quite a bit, and I think we did that at
different times," Brady said. "[We] didn’t get into the rhythm that
we probably would have liked to get into, but made enough plays and
[we’ve] got to eliminate turnovers. [We’ve] got to do basically
everything better, but it’s still great to get a win and be 1-0." The
starters barely played in Preseason games together.
was limited in his offense. "Rob and I, we’ve been playing together
for a long time. I remember a couple years ago, we threw like in April one
year, and I mean we threw like 40 passes. We hit them al," Brady said.
"So, I know his body language. I know his ability to run and what
routes. He can do it. He can do really all the routes. It’s just a
matter of giving him a chance, and it came with a big touchdown today.
all the guys: the backs played well, receivers, guys who were in there did
a good job. So it’s one win. We’ve got to do a lot better. We’re
going to try to this week."
two biggest plays of the 1st quarter were made by Gronk. "It's a lot of
practice, no doubt. A lot of practice. It's never letting up, it's a lot
of consistency out there on the practice field," Gronk said about his
and Brady’s chemistry on the field. "Doing it every week, doing it in
the offseason, doing it in it camp, doing it whenever. You can't just get
on a page like that just from the get-go. You've got to put work in,
you've got to put time in and that's what we do." Brady throws the ball
where only Gronk can catch it, or the defender has to interfere.
he had the pass interference call that kept the drive going. "We see it
quite a bit every day. That's two great players. Both have a lot of skill,
both very good at what they do," BB said about TB12 and Gronk. "They
don't need a lot to complete passes. We see that every day in training
camp and in practice. They're both really good. Rob's hard to cover and
Tom can put the ball where only Rob can get it and Rob can get a lot of
those. I'm glad we have them. They're both great players." Gronk’s
size and walling off the defender causes that tough choice to let him
catch it or get called for a PI.
touchdown. Brady threw it to his back shoulder with two defenders on the
other sides of him. Gronk leaped up with his big mitts, as the two DBs
behind him crashed into each other like circus clowns. Gronk looked like had
to step out of bounds, with one foot pointing to the sideline, and the
two clowns looking to trip him at his feet. But his inside foot had some
life, and he kicked the pylon like Bruce Lee as he stumbled out of bounds.

cowardly republican Senate closer and closer to the cliff.

in the 1st Amendment. Beware subjects, or you will be subjugated:
