The New Celtics.

The Scrap-ah. Part III.

By Tom Mahoney

But so what? What I'm thinking about is what did we learn from this signing? We learned that Danny just doesn't know with certainty that Kyrie is coming back. We learned that Danny thinks that Kyrie is as mercurial as we all do. His flights of fancy could fling him out of town in a year without a sound. That is something the Celtics could survive and still be Champions. But they would need Rozier, or Smart, playing the Point.

Kyrie is already settling into the Celtics for this season. "I couldn't be more proud of what (the C's young Dudes did, and) experienced. I mean, they went to Game 7 of the frickin' Eastern Conference finals," Irving said. "For me, I'm just glad everyone got to learn how special they were on a bigger stage. I'd been talking about how great (they) were. Some of their numbers probably didn't look as appealing to the outside-looker, but they were just… they were always locked in. And then when they were afforded the opportunity to take the reins of the team, you saw them take full advantage of it. You saw guys that literally are going to be stars in this league for years to come." With LeBron gone, they are going to be in the Finals for years to come.

A large part of Marcus's deal is that he is Smart Insurance for Kyrie. "Three agents told the Herald they fully expect Irving to opt out and leave next summer," Bulpett wrote. "But sources connected to the player reiterated in the last two days that, while there are miles to go between now and the end of the coming season, the All-Star guard is quite pleased with his Celtic surroundings and has been talking about the future here beyond 2018-19." Now I don't buy all that.

Kyrie will definitely opt out of his contract after this season. DUH! Who the hell wouldn't! If he opts out he is talking about a near 200-MIL DEAL WITH THE CELTICS. Not news dudes. So the idea that he is instantly gone is 200-million short of reality (okay, so about 187-mil short;). Now he could sign a grand deal with the Knicks or (God forbid;) Brooklyn. But it ain't gonna be as close to a quarter-Bil (that's BILLION) as the Celt's can give him.

You just don't dance outta town, and toss away 80-Mil or so, so you can go to Jersey. The idea the Kyrie is gone after this season is not settled math. There is a clear path to New York for Kyrie, and we all know he dances to his own band. So there is a chance he's gone. The slightest of mercurial chances.

But damn! That's a lot of cake. So the idea that Kyrie opting-out is a hint in any way shape or form that he is thinking of leaving is stupid. He HAS to become a free agent. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY HE CAN SIGN THE MAX DEAL. "Contractually, financially, (not opting-out would be financial suicide, and) just doesn’t make any sense," Irving said.

That is not an admission of anything other than common sense. "I think you guys can feel my attitude is really just redemption next year. Really integrating myself with our team again and really focus on winning a championship. That’s the only thing I’m really worried about," Kyrie said. "Until I get to that point, then I can’t really answer any questions. I’m pretty sure management and I will have a talk, but that talk won’t happen now." However, it is also not saying that it will be a Leprechaun who gives him the pot o' gold after this rainbow season.

So Marcus is Irving-Insurance, because there is also the knee. "Me and my strength and conditioning coach, we're taking it one day at a time," Kyrie said. "I think around this time is probably 15 weeks until the third week in September, not that I'm thinking about it or anything. So I'm excited to just really utilize this offseason to dedicate myself to my craft and things outside of it." Oh, that's all he's thinking about.

He also sees the advantage of having top talent around him, and not just being a one man band. "The Warriors are just, they're that great. You see in a Game Three in Cleveland, and you see the difference on why (KD) is so special," Kyrie said. "You see a 43. And then you see: 12, 11, 10, 10, 10, 10. The year before, in playing them in 2016, they couldn't necessarily get away with a game like that. They've afforded that. Of integrating that team environment, and now adding a very, very special player. Just a big fan of what he does out on the floor." Kyrie is a very, very special player, and once he is added to the young Celtics they will own the East for as long as he choices to stay, like since the Warriors added KD they have owned the West.

One more year of health, and he is also on his way to being a 1/4-billionaire, and maybe a champion again. "The focus is solely on winning a championship next year," Kyrie said. "I don't think (my contract being up will) necessarily have an effect. I'm doing my best to kind of deflect all that, and focus on what's in front of us." Only the Celtics can sign him to that contract. Not the Kicks, or the Nets. That is why he will be back, but...

Be A Citizen! Not a Subject!

Fascist is as Fascist does. Beware American. President Fredo is pulling the cowardly republican Senate closer and closer to the cliff.

Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances:

The 1st Amendment to the Constitution is the greatest paragraph ever written by mankind. It is the truest diagram of how to ensure a free Country of citizens survives. But is is also a list of what to attack when you want to be a fascist dictator. President Jerkballs is attacking every article in the 1st Amendment. Beware subjects, or you will be subjugated:

Trump is a treasonous maniac, and he has to start being treated as such. He is a clear and present danger to out democracy, and has to start being treated as such. It is time for real Americans to stand up and take out Country back. It is time for (R)s to start remember they are Americans first.

"Ask John Brennan — a conservative white guy and former CIA chief — who tweeted Trump’s “press conference performance in Helsinki [with Russian dictator and ex-KGB spy Vladimir Putin] rises to and exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous ...

"Treason is defined in Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution as follows: 'Treason... shall consist... in... adhering to... (America’s) enemies... (by) giving them aid and comfort.'

"It’s also defined in the U.S. Code at 18 U.S.C. Section 2381 as follows: 'Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States,... adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort....' is guilty of treason.

"Based on either definition, Trump’s a traitor.

"Earlier this week, Trump demeaned the office of the United States presidency by publicly bowing and scraping in the presence of autocrat Putin during a joint press conference in Helsinki. While commending Putin’s fake honesty, he condemned American intelligence agencies’ alleged dishonesty. It was a national (and international) humiliation of historic proportions. And it’s exactly why former CIA Director Brennan tweeted his truthful and accurate accusation."

Right now, Putin is winning and the Republican Party is a Co-Conspirator. The one consistent theme to Trump-Treason's policy is destabilization. it seems everything he has been doing the past year and half or so, has lead to a destabilization of our government and standing in the World.

Now is not the time to be wishy-washy, weak, pussies. Political correctness is the deathnel of the Democratic Party. Now is the tie to scream "TREASON" from the rooftops, or lose our Democracy. Now is the time to be rude, right, and abusive to all who call TREASON acceptable behavior! The Republican Party has succeeded from the US of A, and is co-opted to Russia. It is time to call them out early, loudly, and as often as possible.

"We just watched President Trump denounce American law enforcement and let Russia get away with attacking our nation," Rittereiser said. "Here in Ellensburg, we call that treason."

You cannot treat open and brazen Treason as normal political disagreements. The reason the (R)s are not denouncing Russia is becouse they know they have hacked into out POLLS, and are expecting them to CHANGE VOTES IN NOVEMBER TO (R)s! That is why the voted against upgrading Cyber Security,

Republican Rep. Will Hurd (Tex.), a former CIA officer, wrote in a New York Times op-ed yesterday that Congress should consider taking the lead on European security issues. "The president’s failure to defend the United States intelligence community's unanimous conclusions of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and condemn Russian covert counterinfluence campaigns and his standing idle on the world stage while a Russian dictator spouted lies confused many but should concern all Americans," Hurd wrote. "By playing into Vladimir Putin’s hands, the leader of the free world actively participated in a Russian disinformation campaign that legitimized Russian denial and weakened the credibility of the United States to both our friends and foes abroad."

"Also on Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) ordered hearings on Russia sanctions and told lawmakers to consider other penalties “to deter Russia malign behavior.” Several GOP senators have also signed onto legislation aimed at deterring interference.

"But Republicans weren't willing to take action on the House floor to give states what they say they need to protect against future attacks.

"On Thursday, Republicans rejected a measure by Democrats to send states a new infusion of $380 million in federal cash to help fund their election security needs in 2019, as my colleague Erica Werner reported. The party-line vote on an amendment to an appropriations bill prompted a bitter fight on the House floor with Democrats accusing the GOP of failing to stand up to Moscow and Trump, while Republicans dismissed the attacks as an attempt to score political points, saying states already had the resources they needed."

Every (R) in Congress voted down Putin's line, and declared that they did not want to protect our Country Saving Midterm Elections! Why? There is only one reason.

"House Republicans on Thursday approved a spending bill that excludes new money for election security grants to states, provoking a furious reaction from Democrats amid a national controversy over Russian election interference.

The spending bill passed 217-199. Democrats’ bid to add hundreds of millions more in election spending was rejected 182-232 — as Republicans were unmoved by Democrats floor speeches decrying the funding changes and chanting 'USA! USA!'

Rage, RAGE against the dying of Democracy!

Not a president but he plays one on TV - why The 41 Percent stick with Trump:

"Of course, if you’re one of The 54 Percent — the Americans who actively oppose Trump — there is a good chance of electing a radically new House of Representatives for 2019 that will act decisively if special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe provides enough evidence for impeachment. But Republican senators and The 41 Percent won’t stand for Trump’s ultimate removal, and I’m not sure anyone is ready for the new brand of civil war that would be created by all of this.

"The other possibility that could actually bring Trump’s support below 41 percent is also unspeakably grim and undesirable: A recession might demolish the argument that Trump is doing an “amazing” job (and which might come sooner than normal because of the recklessness of his trade wars), but it would also demolish a lot of undeserving hard-working American families. The other great uncertainty is war, which often boosts tyrants at first only to bring them low in the long run.

"These fears are what keep most of us awake at night — but they don’t seem to resonate with The 41 Percent. Not when you can still sit around a sun-soaked picnic table in Michigan and cling to your image of the tall man at the podium. Especially if you put the sound on mute."

Hey Trump, go pee in a hole!
