Greetings Pats Fans,

First off I just want to thank all the fans of this site. I have been promoting my books for sale primarily on this site. As a result, I have sold almost 500 books in the past year. Thank you for your support and patronage, both are greatly appreciated. I cannot tell you how happy it made me when I read that report. So thank you Draft fans and Patriot fans alike, and mostly thank you to all the fans of my books and website worldwide.

Garoppolo Grows Into a Starter.

1st and 10 the Pats lined up in a 2-TE Singleback. The Cards matched up in a 3-4 with a safety in the box, like they were looking for the run. "We had our moments," BB said. "There were times when we moved the ball well and executed crisply. There were times when we didn't. We just need to be more consistent on that. That's everybody. That's the entire offense, the entire defense." But the Pats start falsely. 1st and 15, 4-Wide Weak shotgun. Garoppolo threw in rhythm to Edelman on an Out. He got up field quickly off the snap. He rounded the cut a little. But snapped his head back nicely, and came back a little as the ball was a little under thrown.

The O-line was terrific on this play. "The line did a great job cleaning the pocket out for me," Garoppolo said. "It was pretty clean for the most part. I took a couple of hits, but that’s football. They did a great job cleaning it out for me and it makes my job a lot easier when they’re playing like that." The D-line stunted on the left, and Cannon and the one-handed Mason played it perfectly.

2nd and 5 they ran a screen, but Garoppolo got pulverized by a blitzing safety, Tony Jefferson, and Blount didn't even have to time look back for the pass. Garoppolo squibbed it into the knee of another rusher as he was knocked sideways by Jefferson. That was almost a sack or an INT.

3rd and 5, Empty. Garoppolo has time. The O-line has played better than expected. Garoppolo three stepped and dumped it off to Hogan heading him to the sideline. He turned up field for a long 1st down.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in an I. Garoppolo dropped and threw a back shoulder fade to Mitchell, but it was too back shoulder and Mitchell can't touch this. Fleming was terrific in pass pro against Rooney Gunter on this play. Develin picked up Mr. Jones off the play action, and Blount flipped over Buchanan who tried to jump over him once he saw Blount didn't have the ball.

2nd and 10, the Pats lined up in a 3-Wide Weak Shotgun. Bennett went in motion. They ran behind Cannon. Bennett had a nice block on Mr. Jones. Thuney pulled and hit Buchanan in the hole, but he ducked down in front of Blount, who tripped over him for a cloud of dust.

3rd and 8, 4-Wide Weak shotgun. Marcus Golden sacked Garoppolo and punched the ball out. The ball popped out right into Mr. Jones' happy hands. Golden ran all the way around Cannon to hit Garoppolo from behind. Fleming stoned Jones outside, but he saw Golden attacking from behind and saw the fumble the whole way, and was able to jump on the ball. Mr. Jones and Swearinger do a little dance and the refs call a ridiculously stupid penalty on them. Let the men dance for goodness sake. Although the penalty did send them from inside the 40 to the other side of midfield.

1st and 10, the Cards lined up in a 3-Wide Singleback. The Pats matched up in a 3-3 Nickel that looked like a 3-4 with one ILB. David ran to the line and had nothing. He bounced it outside, and McClellin set the edge and had him. But David shimmied and cut inside in such a flash that McClellin, who had him dead to rights, missed him. He ran for five more yards. He has an stunning burst up field. He literally stunned McClellin with his burst up field on that play.

2nd and 5, the Cards lined up in a 3-Wide Weak shotgun. The Pats matched up in a Nickel with six guys up on the line. They rushed three and dropped Hightower, Collins, and McClellin picked up David sneaking out of the backfield. Palmer threw it in rhythm to Floyd past the magic yellow line. Collins and Butler took him down.

1st and 10 Singleback. The Cards rushed up to the line, but the Pats are set in their 3-4 with two Safeties up in the Box. They were looking for the run. The Cards ran David again. He cut back behind his blockers twice. Collins finally found him on the second level, and Harmon helped get David down. He fought for eight. That was a great run, because the Pats played the run all the way.

2nd and 2, the Cards lined up in a Singleback. The Pats matched up in a 3-4. They motioned the H-back behind the ORT. Three guys stepped in front of the ORT and the two TEs. David went outside, and two guys are out there. Ryan danced with him at the line a little, and David juked him and ran through his arm grab. Long jumped him from the side, and he carried Long over the marker.

1st and 10, the Cards stayed Singleback. The Pats matched up in a 3-4. They ran a dive to David. He ran about three yards, was swarmed over by Ryan, Brown, Hightower, and McClellin.

2nd and 7, the Cards lined up in a Singleback, but Fitzgerald lined up as the H-back. The Pats stayed in the 3-4. The Pats brought five, but just couldn't reach Carson. He finally flung it out to Fitzgerald, and Chung dragged him down short.

3rd and 1, the Cards lined up in a 2-TE Singleback. Pats matched up in a 3-4. They ran a Dive and Chris (Johnson) hopped and dived forward for the 1st down. This was the play Mathis got injured on. Valentine fell on the back of his ankle as he dived at Chris.

1st and 10, the Cards lined up Empty. The Pats match up in a 3-2 Dime. Carson hit Gresham over the middle and McClellin took him down at the six and a half. Carson just had a perfect pocket and all the time in the world.

2nd and 1 and a half, the Cards went Singleback. The Pats matched up in the 3-4. David tried to bounce it outside, but he got caught by Branch. They ran a dive at Branch, and he held the new ORG off with his long hands. David juked inside, and the hopped outside. But Branches pulled himself past the ORG, and hit him high as Ryan ran around the corner and hit him low.

3rd and a half, the Cards lined up in a huge 3-TE Singleback. Pats went real big in a 4-4 with Chung in the Box. David slammed into the line for the 1st. Branch just missed him at the LOS. Then David fought for a few more. Valentine, Collins, McCourty, and Chung brought him down.

1st and goal from the 2, the Cards lined up in a 3-Wide I-shotgun (with David lined up behind Palmer). The Pats had to stay Big in a 3-4. Carson hit Fitzgerald getting outside on a blatant pick play for a TD. If the Pats had run that play Goodell would have called out the National Guard. Pats 10. Cards-7.

The Pats went three and out, but brought the clock down to the 2-minute warning. They were forced to punt at the 26.

1st and 10, Cards lined up in a 4-wide Strong shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 2-3 Dime. They rushed two DBs off the strongside edge, and forced Carson to throw too early. Chung got to Palmer, but had to slow as the ball was gone and couldn't knock him down. Carson overthrew John Brown do to the pressure. But he was bracketed by Coleman and McCourty.

2nd and 10, Cards lined up in a 4-Wide Weak shotgun. The Pats crowd the line with a 2-3 Dime again. They bring three. And Carson threw deep, while both WRs stopped. That was a bad miscommunication pass.

3rd and 10, 3-Wide Shotgun. They match up in 2-3 Dime. He hit John Brown on a 17-yard Out. Justin Coleman hit him as the ball arrived, and slapped the ball out of his hands to force the punt. The Pats then ran the clock out of the Half.
