7 Things for KC: Part IV.

4. Pats Vs.  KC Part II- KC ran a ton of formations in the 1st Quarter. More than any other team I ever broke down. However, when they passed and ran out of a formation, they did the same (passed or ran) when they went back to that formation later in the quarter. So look for the Pats to not just have the weather advantage in the 2nd Half, but the ability to read run or pass on defense as well.

1st and 10, Indy lined up in a Bunch right Strong shotgun. KC matched up in a 2-4 Nickel. They like to run 3-4 style defense, but will take out a DL in order to keep their two Edge Guys on the field. They sent four, and Luck handed the ball off. Their NT Nnadi exploded into backfield, like Tyrek Hill on a Streak. He hit the RB next to Luck, and fell down as he knocked him another four yards backwards. Then he jumped up and tackled him 8-yards behind the LOS. That was as explosive a play I have ever seen an NT make.

2nd and 18, they threw to Hilton on a Screen. He got about 12 back. 3rd and 6, Colts went 4-Wide Weak shotgun. KC matched up with a 3-2 Dime, with three down linemen on the line, and two ILB. They sent four. Luck threw it fast, and the TE Ebron was tackle short by Ward and Anthony Hitchens. Another drive without a 1st by the hapless Colts.

1st and 10, KC went into a tight 3-Wide Strong Shotgun. Mahomes threw it outside to the motioning Hill, for a bubble screen. He dipsy doodled for a couple of inches more. 2nd and 10, KC motioned into a 2-Wide Winged Shotgun. They ran a Draw, and used Hill as a distraction in the backfield.

3rd and 4, and the strategy has changed. Indy is trying to go fast, but still failing. While KC is slowing it down to work the clock. They lined up in a 3-Wide Double-Stacked shotgun- Pass 1 for 1. Indy jumped off side, but amazingly Mahomes still completed the pass, but the whistle had already blown. 

1st and 10, KC went 4-Wide Trips-Right, Strong Shotgun, and KC started falsely. 1st and 15, 3-Wide Weak shotgun, Mahomes threw a bubble screen to Hill. It didn’t work, and a flag was unfurled. Holding on KC. It looked like the refs are starting to feel sorry for the Indy Pathetics.

1st and 25, KC lined up in a 2-Wide Weak shotgun and looked to run a successful play. They ran an Off tackle play that was forced inside by the OLB. He danced around the LOS for a while, and finally was taken down.

2nd and 24, they motioned into a double stacked 4-Wide Bunch-R Strong Shotgun. Mahomes dropped. He had time and threw it underneath, very low, to the RB stopped on the seam. He ran back and danced around, and then dived down for a few.

3rd and 20, KC went 2-Wide Weak Shotgun. Mahomes dropped again. He had a ton of time to stand in the pocket. Then he hopped forward and threw it high and outside to Kelce. It was almost intercepted to force the punt. Then Indy blocked the punt, and jumped on the ball in the Endzone for a wacky TD. So now the Indy Pathetics have scored in the 1st Half, with 5:56 to go, and the offense still does not have a 1st down to their name on it. KC-17. Indy-7.

KC lined up in a Big Stacked Singleback- 1 for 1 Run. They motioned Hill back and forth, and then Mahomes friggin’ dropped again. He hit Kelce running down the Seam with a rocket. Kelce turned up field and ran over midfield.

1st and 10, 4-Wide Weak Shotgun, Trips right. Mahomes dropped. He hit Sammy Watkins, who fell down bending back with one hand and snagged it, on the Seam. 1st and 10 again, KC went 3-Wide Weak Shotgun- 1 for 1 pass. Mahomes hit Hill crossing over the middle. That made it 14 1sts for KC and zip for Indy.

1st and 10, KC went Big Stacked Singleback- 1 for 1 Run. They ran a Draw with a fake End-Around. Williams got a solid seven. 2nd and 3, they motioned the RB next to Mahomes from the Strongside to the Weakside in a 4-Wide Bunch-Right Shotgun, which has triggered a run each time. Williams tried to run off tackle, but the Colts’ finally figured that one out.

3rd and 6, KC lined up in a 4-Wide Trips-Left Weak shotgun- 1 for 1 Pass. Mahomes dropped. He hit Kelce in the Box. He fought his way for a 1st, to get us to the 2-minute warning.

1st and 10, KC went Singleback with TEs on the Right. They have to run here, at the 15, even if just to work the clock. Mahomes friggin’ dropped, and dumped it off to the RB uncovered sneaking out of the backfield. He ran inside the Ten.

2nd and 1, Empty. They fake the Jet Sweep to Hill, and Mahomes flicked a little shuttle pass to Sammy Watkins. He ran inside the Five.

1st and Goal from the Two, Double stacked Singleback. Mahomes handed it off to Watkins on the Reverse. He was tackled at the Five. 2nd and Goal from the Five. They went into a Big I-Formation. Then motioned into a 3-TE Strong Shotgun. Mahomes dropped. He got outside and snuck onto the pylon for a TD, but that was an intended pass. Okay that’s enough. This is a blow out, and the Colts are pathetic. There is less than two-minutes to go and the Colts couldn’t get a single First. They finally got one with KC in the Prevent to try and end the Half. Meaningless.

The 1st Amendment to the Constitution is the greatest paragraph ever written by mankind. It is the truest diagram of how to ensure a free Country of citizens survives. But is is also a list of what to attack when you want to be a fascist dictator. President Jerkballs is attacking every article in the 1st Amendment. Beware subjects, or you will be subjugated:
