Super Bowl Champs.

7 Things for Sunday: Part II.

Greetings Pats Fans,

First off I just want to thank all the fans of this site. I have been promoting my books for sale primarily on this site. As a result, I have sold almost 500 books in the past year. Thank you for your support and patronage, both are greatly appreciated. I cannot tell you how happy it made me when I read that report. So thank you Draft fans and Patriot fans alike, and mostly thank you to all the fans of my books and website worldwide.

Everything Has Changed.

4. Jimmy-G- With Jimmy-G now gone, so is the 10 to 12 year future of the Franchise. Everything about the future of the Patriots has changed. This is now a three-year deal, at best. I'm don't believe that Brady has three years. Maybe two at the most. But next season is going to be a tough one for him.

Now without a future QB after a year or two, do they think they can win a Super Bowl with whoever's next? "That's the hardest part of our job is you spend a lot of time with a guy. All of us have a certain group of guys in our room that we spend more time with than others. And in Jimmy's case, the better part of four years. So, you're always sad. There's a human element to this game that you can't ever get away from," McDaniels said. "We understand the business side of it, but the human element is that you had a guy in your room that you really enjoyed being around, you coached, that spent a lot of time learning and grasping what you were doing, and you saw him grow and get better and mature and improve through the course of time, and now he's not here. I wish him nothing but the best. I really, really think a lot of this guy. He's got a bright future, he's a great person and I hope he does well for himself out there." I know it was unsustainable, but it still shocked me.

I'm not a guy who separates a great Head Coach from his great Quarterback. BB is not the GOAT without Brady, and Brady would not have been the GOAT without BB. As they are seeing in Denver, the HC-BB deal is a symbiotic relationship were both entities need the other to be at their best. Nether will be as great again.

I thought McDaniels was being groomed to take over for BB. How much does the loss of the 10 to 12 years with a very good QB change things for McDaniels? "You always want things that are good opportunities for your guys. We understand that depth at a certain position is a blessing for us, but every player wants to play," McDaniels said. "I understand that, and that's a good thing. They should want to play. They work hard to try to earn their opportunities, and when they get them, they've got to make the most of them. He had a few opportunities here and he did a good job with them, which is why he's earned the opportunity that he's had now." Every level of the organization changed with this trade.

I truly believe that BB could have won a Super Bowl with Jimmy-G. "I always say I don't know how to rate quarterbacks. I wouldn't hire me to be a GM," McDaniels said. "But I think Jimmy has a chance to be a really good quarterback. He gives us problems all the time in practice. I think he has played a good amount of football for us whether it be preseason or games last year. I think he has a chance to be a really good quarterback. I don't know if that means anything to anyone, but we had a ton of confidence in him whenever he had to play for us so I think they'll see that soon." I agree with that assessment.

There is no long term plan. Only the short term, to suck as much marrow out of the old bones of Brady as this Organization can. There is no 10-year plan. There is no 5-year plan. There is only a hope and dream that TB12 can continue to defy the reality of aging in the NFL. I will be putting in a QB at 64 in my Player Ratings (maybe Finley), but that is a long shot at best.

Now as Brady withers so withers the Franchise.

Which is not the end of the world, I know. "He's a special player. He gained a lot of trust with all of his teammates here," Gronk said. "I've seen many, many trades here since I've been here. So I'm not really shocked anymore when I see a trade like that. But it's really good for him. I wish him the best. He's a really good player." The NFL is a short-lived life, and Jimmy's was getting shorter as well.

As for all the foolishness about not understanding why they only got a 2nd midway through the season, when they were assured of at least the 12th pick in the Draft before the season… Um, I'll try not to sound like a jerk. But… Um, are you f-ing serious?

The reason so many trades are made before the Draft is that you then can put the player in your system for 4 or 5 months before he has to play a real game. Jimmy would have been in meetings and doing film with the Brown's OC before the first minicamp after the Draft. Participating in the OTAs, and most importantly he would have had months to master the offense mentally before training camp started. Then weeks to practice it live, before the first Preseason game. Than four preseason games, dozens of practices, and countless hours studying film before his first real game.

Now, he is being thrown into the barbeque pit after a couple of weeks. The difference is months to master the offense before put in the barbeque pit, and days or weeks to study as much as he can before getting toasted in a live game. This season is over for the 49ers. If they got him last March or April they would be contending now, not just trying to keep him alive on the field.

That is as easy and basic a principle to understand as there is in the NFL. "It's only been a week. It's a short period of time. We've been off a lot of that time, too. Again, I try to approach it like I always have every day whether Jimmy's not here or a receiver's not here or a lineman," Brady said. "You just still have to focus on doing your best. I think that's what being a professional is. We've dealt with a lot of changes. Certainly me being here and seeing a lot of guys come and go at different times. There's always transition but you also have to focus on what you need to do to help the team win." A player, especially a QB, is twice as value before than Draft than he is at midseason.

Be A Citizen! Not a Subject!

Fascist is as Fascist does. Beware American. President Jerkballs is pulling the cowardly republican Senate closer and closer to the cliff.

Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances:

The 1st Amendment to the Constitution is the greatest paragraph ever written by mankind. It is the truest diagram of how to ensure a free Country of citizens survives. But is is also a list of what to attack when you want to be a fascist dictator. President Jerkballs is attacking every article in the 1st Amendment. Beware suckers, or you will be subjugated:

I remember the good ol' days of Trump Republicans.

When (R)s were just known for Cruelty,

Incompetence, and Treason.

Now they are the Party of Pedophiles.

The Party of disgusting freaks, Immoral perverts,

and lepers to society.
