1st Quarter.

The Raiders started out with the ball and lined up in a Singleback. The Pats matched up in a 3-3 Nickel. They ran the ball. Lynch bounced it outside instantly. He straight armed Van Noy, ran over Richards, and then was taken down by Harris. That was great run.

2nd and 6, the Raiders lined up in a Singleback. The Pats matched up in a 3-4 with a Chung in the box. They ran Lynch off tackle to the other side, He powered forward behind his blockers, and powered into Branch, Harris, Flowers, and Van Noy for a powerful 1st.

3rd and 1, Bunched up Singleback. 3-3 Nickel with five guys on the line. Lynch got the first down much too easily. 1st and 10, the Raiders lined up in a 4-Wide Weak shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 3-2 Dime. Van Noy got pressure on a bull rush. "It draws the team closer," Van Noy said about the two week circus trip to Mexico via Colorado. "You're spending all day with them. You're eating every meal with them. And so you get to know teammates better, and have a better time," He forced Carr to dump it off outside.

2nd and 8, the Raiders lined up in a 3-Wide Strong shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 3-3 Nickel with both safeties up in the box. Richards and Jonathon Jones brought him down.

3rd and 5, the Raiders lined up in a bunched up 4-wide strong shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 3-2 Dime with five guys on the line. There was no pressure Carr hit Seth Roberts in the hands. He dropped it to force the punt.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in a I with Dion. "He’s had a pretty good year," BB said. "He did a lot of good things for us in training camp, we gave him a significant amount of playing time in the preseason games, including kickoff returns, so I think he’s done a pretty good job all year." They ran Dion up the middle for a couple.

2nd and 10, the Pats lined up a 3-Wide Strong shotgun. Brady threw it quickly to Cooks. "Nobody works harder than Brandin," BB said. "He has the speed an acceleration to create mismatches and does everything well, from slants, outs and deep passes. He’s been a good player for us." He turned up field fast, but couldn't get the first.

The Pats lined up Empty on 3rd and 3, Brady hit Amendola crossing over the middle. He turned up field for the First.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in a 4-Wide Weak. Brady dumped it off to Burkhead. He ran through a couple defenders for a few. "It's different being out here all week preparing," Burkhead said, "but I think it's definitely beneficial for the team and something that will help us out for the week in preparation for Oakland." 2nd and 6, the Pats lined up Empty. Brady had a ton of time. Then had to dumped it off to Burkhead. He turned up field for the First.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in a Singleback. White danced outside for a cloud of dust. 2nd and 5, the Pats are using pace. They lined up quickly in a stacked up strong shotgun. Brady dumped the ball off to the one armed Bennett. He fought for a few. 3rd and 1, Big ugly Singleback. Brady gave it to White, and he cut behind Thuney and Solder for the First.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in a Strong formation. "I don’t know if there’s like a specific moment where you kind of realize where a player coming off of an injury has resumed a previous form or percentage or what have you," McDaniels said about Dion. "I just think we’ve been trying to give him opportunity to work back in over the last two years and do the things that he does well." Brady gave it to Lewis. He hopped to the line danced backwards, and then dived forward.

2nd and 11, the Pats lined up in a Singleback. Brady dropped and threw to No-Hands Allen. "I felt like the ball was beating me up or me beating the ball up, I wasn't catching it," Allen said. "It felt amazing. It felt amazing to get that monkey off my back, and start heading into a positive direction. It's all about consistency." He seemed to find his hands as he has just caught two passes in a row.

2nd and 6, the Pats motioned into a 4-Wide Weak. "I think the guys made a lot of great plays," Brady said. "I was just trying to deliver it to them. Our defense played great. Special teams played really well. Had some real critical swings there with the turnovers. But it was a good game by us. Happy we came on the road and beat another good team." Brady shipped a perfect pass to Amendola on a Post, and he got another First.

1st and 10, at the 28, the Pats lined up in an I. Burkhead burst up the middle like a crackhead on roller skates. He was near a First when he got hammered by Treyvon Hester. Hester ripped the ball out.

"All our guys try to protect the football at all times," McDaniels said. "Look, things happen in this game. We know how important ball security is to winning and losing, so it’s a critical aspect of what we do. We also understand that things do happen and we have confidence in all our guys. [Burkhead] went back in there, carried the ball again and he will continue to do that. You look at all those things as they come and try to make the best decision for the team, and Coach will always do that."

Then No-Hands Allen dived on it, and was able to grab and hold onto a ball for the third straight time in two games! "I hope it's a lesson for a lot of young guys, honestly," Allen said. "I came into this league wide-eyed and bushy tailed and thought everything was going to be given to me. You come here to a winning football club and you learn that it takes self-sacrifice. You have to give up yourself for the benefit of the team. That's what it's all about. Sometimes, you're awarded a touchdown." Now I've seen everything.

2nd and 2, the Pats rush around into a 4-Wide Weak. They set up a little badly blocked screen. Bowman took Lewis down behind the line. 3rd and 6, the Pats lined up Empty. White motioned next to Brady. Brady stepped up into the pocket. Then fired a rocket into Philip Dorsett's hands. The ball bounced out of his hands. But he was saved as a flag flew across the field.

1st and 10 at the 19, the Pats lined up in a Strong formation. Brady give it to Lewis and he dived down into the box. "And really that’s up to Dion, to tell us where he’s at, how he feels and what he’s capable of doing," McDaniels said. "And he’s done a great of not only working back from an injury, but also: communicating, working hard, practices well, and does a lot of things to try to get better. [Dion] deserves all the credit for the work he’s put in. Again, I don’t know where’s at relative to what he was, that’s not necessarily anyone’s concern. He’s playing well and he’s got a good, solid role on our team and he does whatever we ask him to do to help us win each week."

2nd and 6, the Pats lined up in a 3-Wide Strong shotgun. Brady pumped fake left. Then snapped back and hit Lewis in the flat. He danced, and juked, and leaped into the endzone for an electric slide touchdown. Pats-7 Raiders-Irrelevant.

1st and 10, the Raiders lined up in a 3-Wide Weak shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 3-3 Nickel with four guys on the line. Carr threw the ball to Patterson. "J. Jones was in on all of them," McCourty said. "He’s been a big X-factor, I think, every time he’s gotten in defensively and obviously in the kicking game." He ran over Jonathan Jones. But J. Jones was able to trip him up.

2nd and 4, the Raiders lined up in a Singleback. The Pats matched up in a 3-3 Nickel with four guys on the line. They ran up the gut for too much. Harris, Roberts, Guy, and Flowers finally conspired to take him down.

Raiders started falsely. Then lined up Empty on 1st and 15. The Pats matched up 3-2 Dime with all five guys looking like they were coming. Flowers hit Carr as he threw. "All that is cool, it's different, some things I've never seen before," Trey Flowers said. "But we're focusing on the Raiders, and trying to get these wins." He knocked the ball wildly out of Carr's hand.

2nd and 15, the Raiders line up in a 2-Wide Weak shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 3-3 Nickel. Carr dumped it off to Richards, and Van Noy concussed him to the ground.

3rd and 11, the Raiders lined up in a 4-Wide Strong shotgun. The Pats matched up in a 3-2 Dime. They sent all five. Carr tried to go deep to Holton. "Jonathan is definitely one of my favorite teammates over the years," Slater said. "He just comes in, doesn’t say a whole lot, works his butt off, and he’s a very, very valuable player to this team. I think you guys are starting to see that a little bit more now, but that’s what we’ve known for a long time as his teammates." But Jones leaped up and punched the ball out.

Harmon tracked the pop up down for essentially a punt/INT. "Jonathan Jones is in on all of them. He's been a big X factor every time he got in, defensively and obviously in the kicking game. It's something we talk about every week. Obviously, playing solid defense, executing the game plan, but changing the game with turnovers," McCourty said. "Even Duron's interception was a 3rd down play. So it was kind of like a punt. But the energy it brings. When the offense takes the field after we get a turnover, that's huge." Maybe the biggest play in this short lived game.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in a Singleback. They ran play action to Dion. He ran through the line and turned around. Brady hit him in the box. He turned up field for the First.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in a Weak formation. They run play action, and Brady got sacked. 2nd and 18, the Pats lined up in a Singleback. They ran play action. Brady threw a bullet to Cooks. He leaped up and took it in the gut for close to a First. 3rd and less than 5, the Raiders jumped off sides for an automatic Patriots 1st down.

1st and 10, the Pats lined up in an I. They ran Dion on a Smash. He barely reached the LOS. 2nd and 10, the Pats lined up in Singleback. They ran play action. Brady hit the one armed Bennett running out to the flat.

3rd and 5. the Pats motioned into a 4-Wide Weak shotgun. Brady had time and went too deep towards Cook. He just couldn't reach it to force the punt.
